Testimony & Bio
Bro. Mark Humble
Co-Director & Pastor
"But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer."
1 Peter 4:7 KJV
A Life Shaped by Surrender
Mark Humble came to faith not through a dramatic crisis but through a quiet, persistent work of grace — the kind that does not announce itself with thunder but arrives like morning light, slowly filling a room until the darkness is simply gone. He was a young man when God began to draw him, and the drawing was gentle but unmistakable. There was a hunger in him that the world could not satisfy, a longing for something real in a world full of noise.
His early years in the faith were marked by a deep love for the local church. He was not a man who drifted from congregation to congregation looking for the best experience. He planted himself, served faithfully, and learned what it meant to be a son of the house. He swept floors, set up chairs, prayed in empty sanctuaries, and sat under the teaching of men who had paid a price for what they carried. Those years formed him in ways that no seminary could.
The call to pastoral ministry came gradually, confirmed by the body of Christ before it was ever announced from a platform. People came to Mark with their burdens. They trusted him with their secrets. They found in him a steadiness that pointed them to God. It was not long before those around him recognized what God had placed in him — and the church affirmed what heaven had already ordained.
When God brought Mark and Asa together, it was not a business arrangement. It was a divine alignment — two men with different gifts and the same burden, called to carry something together that neither could carry alone. Mark brought the pastoral heart, the love for the local church, the steady hand of a shepherd. And in that partnership, Fourth Watch Ministries found its full expression.
"Revival does not bypass the local church — it flows through it. My burden is for the pastors, the intercessors, the faithful remnant who have been praying and waiting and refusing to give up."
The Shepherd's Burden
Bro. Mark's burden is specific and personal: he carries the local church on his heart. Not the idea of the church, but the actual congregations — the small ones, the struggling ones, the ones where the pastor has been faithful for twenty years and has never seen a great move of God. He prays for those pastors by name. He weeps for those congregations. He believes God has not forgotten them.
As an intercessor, Mark understands that the work of revival begins long before anyone steps behind a pulpit. It begins in the secret place — in the hours of prayer that no one sees, in the travail that produces spiritual birth, in the watchman's cry that goes up in the darkness before the dawn breaks. He has given himself to that work, and he calls others to join him in it.
His message to the church is not one of condemnation but of invitation. He does not stand over the sleeping church with a gavel — he stands beside it with a lantern, calling gently but urgently: wake up. The Bridegroom is coming. There is still time to trim your lamp. There is still time to be ready. But the time is short, and the hour is late.
